Es gibt Motorräder in diesem 101 Sprint, welche auch heute noch täglich gefahren werden – und Motorräder die nur für Sonnentage und genau diesen 101 Sprint abgedeckt und aus der Garage geholt werden. Edle ehemalige Racing-Schönheitsköniginen treffen auf Straßenhunde, die schon alles in ihren oft mehr als 40 Jahren gesehen und erfahren haben. Gemeinsam ist ihnen: »Old Breeds« – Klassiker bis Baujahr ’83.
Nicht unbedingt die Reifen werden qualmen – aber am 101 Sonntag wird der Duft einer wilden Vergangenheit über die Tribüne des 101 schweben wenn die 16 Teilnehmer ihr altes Eisen auf Vollgas stellen.

There are motorcycles in this 101 Sprint, which are still ridden daily – and motorcycles that are only covered up and taken out of the garage for sunny days and exactly this 101 Sprint. Precious former racing beauty queens meet street dogs that have seen and experienced everything in their often more than 40 years. What they have in common is: »Old Breeds« – classics up to year of construction ’83.
Not necessarily the tires will be smoking – but on 101 Sunday the scent of a wild past will float over the grandstand of the 101 when the 16 participants put their old iron on full throttle.

Bitte checkt eure Mails und sendet dem MO-101-Race-Office« eine kurze Bestätigung zurück: »Ready to ROAR!«
Die Aufstellung zeigt eure Startnummer, die Paarungen sowie die Reihenfolge in welcher ihr auf die 1/8 Meile geht. Gefahren wird analog: Old School! K.O. System – Flaggenstart – keine Zeitnahme.
Bitte denkt daran, es werden nur zwei weitere Begleitpersonen pro Teilnehmer/in im Startbereich des 101, unserer »Heißen Zone«, zugelassen. Diese müssen sich, wie ihr als Fahrer/in, ebenfalls im 101 Race Office vor Ort anmelden.
Der technische Zustand eures Motorrads wird von der 101-Rennleitung im Rahmen einer technischen Abnahme überprüft, sowie auch euer Helm welcher aktuellen Normen entsprechen muss. Das Tragen stabiler Renn- und Sicherheitskleidung – gerne natürlich »racing in style« – wird vorausgesetzt.
Steven wird bis Mitte August seine »1/8 Meile Bibel« aktualisieren und veröffentlichen. Darin dann alles Wissenswerte zu Prozedere, Normen, Regeln, Verhalten – für Newbies wie Pros – auf der 1/8 Meile des Glemseck 101.

Please check your mails and send a short confirmation back to the MO-101-Race-Office: »Ready to ROAR!«
The line-up shows your start number, the pairings and the order in which you go into the 1/8 Mile. Our 1/8 Mile is analogue: Old School! K.O. system – flag start – no time measurement.
Please remember that only two additional accompanying persons per participant will be allowed in the start area of the 101, our »hot zone«. They, like you as a rider, must also register at the 101 Race Office on the spot.
The technical condition of your motorcycle will be checked by our 101 Race Control as part of a technical inspection. As well as your helmet, which must comply with current standards. Wearing sturdy racing and safety clothing – of course gladly »racing in style« – is required.
Steven will update and publish his »1/8 Mile Bible« by mid-August. In it you will find everything worth knowing: Procedures, norms, behavior, rules. For newbies as well as pros on the 1/8 Mile of the Glemseck 101.
