Obwohl sie eng an die amerikanische Musikkultur der 50er Jahre anknüpfen, kopieren sie nicht einen Stil sondern sind in ihrer Musik wie Bühnen-Performance sehr experimentierfreudig. Alte Themen werden neu interpretiert und damit kreieren sie ihren ganz eigenen, typischen Sound und rocken die 101 Party.

Although they closely follow the American music culture of the 50s, they do not copy one style but are very experimental in their music and stage performance. Old themes are reinterpreted and thus they create their very own, typical sound and will rock the 101 party.

Mad Guz & The Mojos

101 Friday – 2nd burning for the 101 party

Diese Band erlebt man. Man tanzt und feiert – oder genießt einfach in einer ruhigen Ecke die Leidenschaft mit welcher auf der Bühne, besonders von Mad Guz selbst, für ihr Publikum Feuer gelegt wird. Es ist eine Achterband an Sound, mal smooth und ruhig und gleich danach der dreifache Looping – und sie nennt sich »Rough Rolling Blues«.

This band is and experience. You dance and celebrate – or simply enjoy in a quiet corner the passion with which they set fire on stage to their audience, especially Mad Guz himself. It’s a rollercoaster in sound, sometimes smooth and quiet and immediately afterwards the triple loop – and it’s called »Rough Rolling Blues«.

Dusty Dave & The Heart Attacks

101 Saturday – 1st burning for the 101 party
20:00 – 22:00

Es wird laut und rau. Seit gewarnt, denn der Zusatz »& The Heart Attacks« kommt nicht von ungefähr! Es ist dreckiger Blues-Bopper, auf den Spuren von Lee Hooker, Sonny Terry und Little Walter. Auch mit eigenen Songs, welche die Beine des Publikums wie von selbst in Bewegung bringen wird. Und vielleicht wird man neben dem Geruch der brennenden Tanzfläche auch Spuren von Haarcreme, Kölnisch Wasser und Gästezimmerseife bemerken.

It will get loud and rough. Beware, the addition »& The Heart Attacks« is no coincidence! It’s dirty blues boppers, in the footsteps of Lee Hooker, Sonny Terry and Little Walter. Also with their own songs, which will get the audience’s legs moving as if by magic. And perhaps you’ll notice traces of hair cream, eau de cologne and guest room soap alongside the smell of the burning dance floor too.

Sandy Lee And The Wantons

2021 kurz vor dem aus stehend, ist diese Rock’n Roll und Rockabilly Formation jetzt wieder voll da! Mit ihrer explosiven »C4-Sound« Mischung aus Imelda May und Elvis Presley, versehen mit einem Hauch von Surf Twang »Nitro« – lassen sie es richtig krachen und werden die 101 Bühne als unser »Last Gig in 2023« in ein Sound-Feuerwerk verwandeln.

On the brink of the end of the road in 2021, this rock’n roll and rockabilly formation is now back in full force! With their explosive »C4 sound« mix of Imelda May and Elvis Presley, with a touch of surf twang »nitro« – they’re going to let it bang big and will turn the 101 stage into a sound firework as our »Last Gig in 2023«.
