::: The five major points about camping at the 101
- The campground at Glemseck 101 is only for motorcycles and tents available.
- There is no reservation options for a tent site. Approx. 250 tent sites available.
- Escort vehicles (transport of luggage, tents, food) can drive for a deposit of 50 euros for 1.5 hours (90 min.) in the area of the campground.
- For trailer and camper separate places are declared: The 101 Paddock. In cardinal its the place for our participants.
- Visitors who travel with camper or trailer please note: Places in the 101 Paddock are only available in limited number, have no power supply, no warm water and can not be reserved.
::: Access to the campsite (motorcycles, escort vehicles, camper)
The entrance to the campsite is the same as the years before. From the Autobahn A8 / A81, exit Leonberg-Ost, on the road No.1187 towards Stuttgart. At the bus stop »Schumisberg« you find the first safety barrier with one our friendly staff. He will instruct and sperate you: Motorcyle with tent. Escort vehicle with the luggage. Camper. 101 Sprint participants with campers.
::: Entry Camping & Parking
Officially the „101 entrance“ opens at Friday 1-Sep. 2017 at 9:30 am.
::: Cost for camping
For the campground (tent & bike) €15.00 per square for one night. Two nights / weekend: €20.00. This amount is to be paid upon arrival and will be collected by our staff on the spot.
::: Cost for 101 Paddock
For the trailor campground €15.00 per pace for one night. Two nights / weekend: €20.00. This amount is to be paid upon arrival and will be collected by our staff on the spot. Please note: 101 Paddock space is limited and there is no reservation options for trailor parking space.
::: Alternatives to Glemseck 101 for campers and trailers
We can recommend these two campsites: Campsite Cannstatter Wasen / Stuttgart or Campingsite Neuhausen-Schellbronn. The cost, please check directly with the campsite.
::: Motorcar parking at the Glemseck 101
There will be a large parking lot. From the Autobahn A8 / A81, exit Leonberg-Ost, on the road No.1187 towards Stuttgart. At the bus stop »Schumisberg« you find the first safety barrier with one our friendly staff. He will instruct you. Fee for one day is 5,- €. For the whole 101 weekend (Friday to Sunday) 10,- €.
::: Motorcycle parking at the Glemseck 101 – it’s free!
For all visitors who travel on motorcycle, the area of the Glemseck 101 is free to cruise in. Over the whole 101 weekend. You can park your bikes in front of the entrance. If you are a skilled and safe rider you can ride – very slow – into the 101 area. However, if there is a too large crowd of visitors in the area, our staff at the entrance may give you the instructions to park your bike in front of the 101.
Please note: We urge you to ensure that you, when parking your bike, to hold free the required emergency lane (3.5 meters). Our security stuff has clear instructions to approach and order you to park your bike elswhere, if it should parked »to tight«.
