General Information

The Event

The location "Glemseck" stands for pure motorsport tradition in southern Germany. Up until the 1960s, the legendary Solitude racetrack around "Glemseck" hosted thrilling races featuring two- and four-wheeled legends of motorsport.

The Hotel Glemseck, situated directly on the former racetrack, forms the centre of "Glemseck" and has served as the focal point of the Glemseck 101 event since its first edition in 2006. For decades, it has been a meeting point for motorcyclists and lovers of classic automobiles of all kinds, boasting a history of over 100 years that has always been closely linked to the historic motorsport right on its doorstep.

Glemseck 101 represents the successful continuation of this tradition for a broad audience—a three-day, two-night, brand-spanning motorcycle event. With free admission for visitors throughout the entire three days, it is open to all brands, types, characters, and every kind of motorcycle.

Spirit of 101

Drawing on the experience of seventeen successful events, a "Spirit of 101" has developed, firmly established in the German and European motorcycle scene and carefully nurtured by the Glemseck 101 event team.

From the Main Stage with live music to the dealer and exhibitor areas with their unique paddock atmosphere, the "International Villages" brought to life by participants and customizers from all over Europe, and the legendary 1/8 mile on the start and finish straight of the former Solitude racetrack, the event offers exhibitors, designers, builders, visitors, and sprint participants an immersion into a broad and special motorcycle world—both nationally and internationally.

The Program

On our Glemseck 101 website as well as on Facebook and Instagram, the various program highlights and special guests with their motorcycles will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

Glemseck 101 offers a dealer mile over three kilometers long, organized on two country roads closed for the weekend. The Main Stage and Hotel Glemseck are at the heart of the event. Caterers, spread across the entire area, provide for the culinary needs of visitors.

The Glemseck 101 program includes live music with regional and international bands from the 101 stage on Friday and Saturday evenings, a motorcycle church service (MoGo) on Sunday morning, test ride opportunities, special info stands from the city of Leonberg and the police, as well as open-for-business Saturday and Sunday. The scenario is further enlivened by individual exhibitors, clubs, and participants with their own program points along the dealer mile and through the "International Villages".

The absolute highlight is the internationally renowned 1/8 mile sprints in different classes and brands on Saturday and Sunday.

Unique Feature: The 1/8 Mile

Information about the Glemseck 101 - 1/8 Mile will be available on our website from spring 2025. As soon as the various 101 sprints for 2025 are set, we will publish the respective technical regulations for application and participation. All information about the 1/8 mile will also be announced on Facebook and Instagram!

The grandstand along the racetrack offers more than 1,200 spectators a view of the action and the unique show on the 1/8 mile. It is positioned on the northern edge of the sprint track and extends from the starting line to the finish. For professional photographers and filmmakers, there is a designated area on the southern edge of the track.

The scene around the sprint track is one of the most photographed elements of the event. The Glemseck 101 grandstand, with its diverse audience and prominent outdoor advertising, can be seen in many images in post-event coverage, both in close-ups (sprint and return) and wide shots. It also appears in almost every Glemseck 101 video posted online or shared on social media by visitors, participants, and sponsors.

Our Aspiration – Your Success

Our visitors come to the event with high expectations. This applies not only to organization and programming but especially to the presence of companies and organizations, regardless of their booth size, scope, or brand. We ask every exhibitor to meet these expectations in the spirit of the "Spirit of 101"—be creative and appealing—we set no limits!

Is this your first time presenting a booth at Glemseck 101? Feel free to get inspired by the impressions on our Glemseck 101 website or the pictures and videos on our social media! Do you or your marketing department have further questions? We are happy to advise you!

Glemseck 101 in the Media

The unique atmosphere of Glemseck 101 and our 101 sprints enjoy great attention, which extends far beyond the motorcycle scene. Glemseck 101 has earned an excellent reputation as "the European motorcycle festival" in all publications, both German and international print and online media, as well as on all social platforms.

Reports and visually rich features about the events of recent years can be found worldwide. Radio and television stations also show great interest in the event—broadcasting either as news items or as part of their own features.

The event and the 101-1/8 mile sprints are also directly covered by our media partners.

Due to the length of the original text, this is a partial translation covering the main sections. If you need the translation of the remaining parts (Exhibitor Categories, Stand and Presentation, Prices, Registration, etc.), please let me know, and I will continue the translation accordingly!

Exhibitor Categories

Manufacturer / Company / Vendor

Exhibitors who operate a business or trade, originate from the motorcycle industry, or have any other commercial or marketing interest are welcome, as long as their target audience is, directly or indirectly, motorcyclists. For these exhibitors, two booth categories are available: standard area or premium area (see price list for conditions).

Due to the market status of our event, products can also be sold and actively promoted on the event Sunday. Please note that in the case of beverage sales, the regulations for caterers also apply, especially regarding the brand exclusivity of beer and beer-mixed beverages.

From a booth length of 4 running front meters, exhibitors will be included in an exhibitor directory. In addition, logos of selected premium exhibitors, sponsors, and partners will be prominently placed on the Glemseck 101 website. In certain cases, we also offer booth spaces of less than 4 running front meters in the standard area! However, in this case, there is no entitlement to inclusion in the exhibitor directory.

Club / Non-Profit Organization

We are happy to offer clubs and associations the opportunity to present themselves at Glemseck 101. Designated clubs will be provided with a “101 Standard 4x4 meter” space. This can be expanded to 8x4 meters upon request and after consultation with the organizer, provided the organizer is able to accommodate this. Clubs are generally located in the western part of section D. The organizer reserves the right to assign clubs to another area in exceptional cases. There is no entitlement to a specific location.

The sale of food and beverages is not permitted. Own catering for personal use is allowed. Subletting of booth spaces is not permitted. Club or association merchandise and fan products may be sold.

The organizer reserves the right to request proof of non-profit status. Private individuals registering as a “club” without such proof will be classified as persons with commercial intent and assigned to the “vendor” category.

Gastronomy

For selected caterers and commercial vendors of food and drinks, we offer a limited number of booth spaces. Here, we place great value on quality, variety, and good service.

The event site is in a protected landscape area. We place the utmost importance on waste avoidance and environmental protection. Exhibitors offering food and drinks for immediate consumption should use washable, reusable dishes and cutlery, or uncoated and compostable disposable tableware whenever possible. Beverages may only be served from reusable bottles or from uncoated and compostable disposable cups.

Own reusable cups with a proprietary deposit system may not be introduced. There is the option to participate in the 101-deposit cup system. For more information, please contact Steffen Hofmann at s.hofmann@glemseck101.de.

Throughout the entire event area, only products from Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu GmbH & Co KG may be commercially served as beer and beer-mixed beverages. The serving or sale of beers and beer-mixed beverages from other breweries is not permitted. Beer and beer-mixed beverages may only be served in cups with a capacity of 0.5 liters.

Booth Space and Presentation

Booth Categories

Booth spaces are divided into several categories:

  • Standard or premium area
  • With or without power supply
  • Standard depth (4m) or special depth (up to 10m)
  • Booth spaces for offering test rides

From a booth length of 4 running front meters, participants are included in an exhibitor directory. In addition, logos of selected premium exhibitors, sponsors, and partners will be prominently placed on the Glemseck 101 website.

In certain cases, we also offer booth spaces of less than 4 running front meters in the standard area! In this case, there is no entitlement to inclusion in the exhibitor directory.

Booth spaces with a depth of more than 4 meters are very limited and only available at certain locations. Please clearly indicate in your application documents if you require a booth with special depth.

Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities

Glemseck 101, with its unique atmosphere, leaves a lasting impression on visitors and creates strong visuals. Interested exhibitors have a variety of options to present themselves beyond their booth presence. Placement of logos, labels, or advertising messages on banners, shirts, deposit cups, flags, or at the main stage is possible. If interested, please contact Steffen Hofmann at s.hofmann@glemseck101.de. Further information can be found under the category “Price List.”

Offering Test Rides

Exhibitors located in the premium area have the opportunity to book an additional booth space in a designated area of the dealer mile (Section Z, standard category without power connection) for a fee, in order to offer test rides from there.

1/8 Mile Brand Sprints / Opening Sprint

We offer the possibility, in limited numbers, to conduct your own brand sprints. Options include 2-person, 4-person, or 8-person sprints. Sponsors are free in the design of these sprints. Within these sprints, you can explicitly promote your brand through your own moderation.

The opening sprint is traditionally run by our mayor. The exhibitor who acquires this opening sprint provides two identical motorcycles as well as the opponent. Before the start, the riders are interviewed, and the brand and motorcycle are explicitly presented. The opening sprint receives the sponsor’s title.

We do NOT allow any promotion on or attached to the parked motorcycles of our visitors within the 101 grounds! Glemseck 101 is an attractive destination for photographers and journalists. To preserve this image, attaching advertising flyers, giveaways, etc., to parked motorcycles is not permitted.

All prices are exclusive of materials, supply or connection costs, personnel, and setup/dismantling costs, plus statutory VAT.
