Press

Dear representatives of the press,
due to strong demand, an application for photo, film and press accreditation is only in advance and online possible.
Please use this link to the 101 Online Accreditation Form
::: Application deadline is Friday, August 28th, 2026
Please note: An on the spot accreditation is NOT possible.
Your application will be reviewed and processed accordingly. A notification sent by email. The real accreditation is granted upon presentation of confirmation and press card on the spot in the tent of the press office.
There is no right to accreditation. The Glemseck101-organizers reserve the right to refuse accreditation without giving reasons.
::: What do I need an accreditation for?
An Accreditation is only necessary if you want to enter our 1/8 Mile starting zone. No accreditation is required for the rest of the 101 area, including the 101 grandstand at the 1/8 Mile. However, please be sure to read our rules for the »Use of drones«. See below.
::: Photographers without a press card
Please enter a link under point 11 of the online form (website / foto gallery), under which significant work of yours can be viewed. Under point 13 (comment) you can also enter a short message. E.g. on whose Team 101 recommendation you are accrediting. Your point of contact in the lead-up to the event is our 101 Creative Director, Steven Flier.
::: On site at the Glemseck 101
Photographers and film crews need a »photo camisole«, which is clearly visible to wear in the start area of the 1/8 mile sprint track. The photo camisole is available locally in the press tent for a deposit of 50,- €.
A maximum of two representatives of the media can be accredited pro editors. Individual checks by the 101 press office and the event organizer are possible.
::: There are no press parking spaces available!
Due to the natural area, we can not provide press parking. If you arrive by car or van, you will be directed to our visitor parking lots and we will charge you a parking fee of 10, - € (one day) or 15, - € (whole weekend). This amount is payable upon arrival and will be collected by our staff directly on site. Note: Only cash payment is possible.
::: On our 1/8 mile applies: 101 Race-Control is God!
Instructions of all our 101 employees as well as the security service in the start zone and on the entire 1/8 Mile must be followed.
::: Final recommendation
Follow us on 101 Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date!
We wish you a lot of fun and godspeed in your work!
Your Team Glemseck 101
Use of drones
The use of drones and similar unmanned aerial vehicles is allowed only with the permission of the organizer. Drone recordings may in principle only from the side and open country (no over audience, not over the 101 sprint track) are performed.

About Your Photo Material, Galleries & REELs
Your contact person is Steven Flier, our 101 Creative Director since the very beginning of Glemseck 101. We thank every one of you 101 Sharpshooters who sends us your collection of 101 photos from the event (e.g. via WeTransfer) and makes it available to us.
Whether it’s for our own info teasers (website & social media) or in our 101 Facebook galleries / Insta carousels – your name will always be credited in the image and you will be tagged on Instagram. In the caption as well as in the image itself. The photo remains your copyright, and if third parties inquire, we will always refer them to your social media account or the contact details you’ve provided us.
If you’re sending us your selection directly: We don’t need High-Res files. Web-optimized photos sized around 1 to 1.5 MB per image are perfectly sufficient. If we need a selection of High-Res images for print, we will reach out to you directly.
Steven and the entire Team 101 are thrilled about every commission you generate through a social media gallery or REEL you create about Glemseck 101! Please make sure to use both of our 101 platforms: 101 Facebook and 101 Instagram, as well as Instagram Stories! Feel free to reference one of your larger Facebook galleries in your Instagram caption or in the final image of an Insta carousel!
A quick note: Glemseck 101 is much more than just the 1/8 Mile on Saturday and Sunday! We love it when you also capture the 101 Main Stage with its live music program on Friday and Saturday evening, the action on the dealer mile, and everything happening behind the scenes at Glemseck 101!
Tag Glemseck 101 and/or list it as Co-Author* – and if you’re using music, we strongly recommend using ‘Royalty Free Sound’ – even if the selection is limited.
A word about Facebook: It’s Mark Zuckerberg’s META hell. If you post large 101 galleries there and don’t see any reaction or repost after 48 hours, just send Steven a message via WhatsApp! For example: “Hey, take a look, I posted something.”
Whether it’s a photo gallery, great REELs, or a 101-themed Story – of course the days right after the 101 are the most exciting on social media. But we’re also very happy if you keep posting about the 101 throughout the whole season! Especially in the three months leading up to our next event! That’s when interest keeps growing – and both you and we get more attention from our 101 fans as well as our partners and sponsors.
Thank you for taking the time right here and now!
Steven and the Team 101 are looking forward to seeing you – whether in the 101 start zone, on the dealer mile, or in front of and on our 101 Main Stage.
*Regarding Co-Author: Steven decides what gets featured in the Glemseck 101 Insta Grid. He prefers “strong” REELs or galleries with 10 to 20 images.
